September 2026 - Master Thesis Defense - Mrs Andreza Mattoso da Cunha

Mrs. Andreza successfully defended her master thesis, entitled “In silico comparative expression analyses of transposable elements in the PACMAD clade of grasses with a special focus in sugarcane”, on September 16th, 2026. The members of her evaluation committee were Prof. Marie-Anne Van Sluys (IB/USP), Prof. Romain Guyot (IRD/França), and her thesis supervisor Prof. Diego Mauricio Riano Pachon (CENA/USP). Mrs. Andreza continues with a PhD position in Japan studying transposable elements in rice, we wish her the best!
